| Volunteers
have been serving communities in various
aspects for many years - working selflessly
in organizations, in youth and community
movements and service organizations; receiving
no pay, yet deriving enormous satisfaction
from the experience. Volunteers play a critical
role at the United Way of Baroda and all
its supporting activities. Without our volunteers,
we would never be able to provide the current
level of programs and services to assist
the community. We estimate that the numbers
of hours our volunteers give to us equals
approximately full-time staff positions.

| United
Way of Baroda conducts a collection of activities
and the success of which can be attributed
largely to the working of the volunteers.
Be it the Navratri Mahotsav, the Vishnubhai
Amin project, the Management Training programme,
Walk for Baroda or any other such goings-on,
the volunteers of United Way play a deep-seated
role in bringing a consolidated and winning
end to the activities. The need of volunteers
working for the society is largely felt
and United Way of Baroda is exceptionally
thankful to the volunteers associated with
it to bring prolific closing stages to all
the events undertaken for the deprived people
in and out of Baroda. |
