VDP ( Volunteer Development Programme )
What this world needs is a new kind of army - the army of the kind.

United Way of Baroda Volunteer Development Programme was a training programme with the aim of forming one such army. Its vision was to develop young people to become productive citizens who are involved in a positive change to meet the needs of a diverse and changing society.

The programme was held on 26th July, 2009 at Gujarat Nature Conservation Society (GNCS), Sindhrot.
 
The core objectives of conducting such a programme were to:

Foster volunteerism in youth and adults to benefit the city progress.
Provide proper guidance regarding how to go about being a volunteer.
Develop various life skills that benefit the youth throughout life.
Encourage the team-spirit among the volunteers.
It was a successful attempt to convince volunteers to devote their time, their skills or resources for United Way of Baroda.
